Here are some questions to think about in considering whether or not you should hire a wedding planner:
1. Do you have unlimited time to work on the wedding of your dreams?
2. Do you have personal knowledge of the reputations of the service providers you are choosing? Do you know what to look for in a contract between yourself and a service provider?
3. Do you know all the proper etiquette involved in a wedding?
4. Do you know how to plan a wedding budget?
5. Who will make sure that the wedding programs and wedding bubbles are in their proper places?

6. Who will make sure that the favors, table centerpieces, special toasting flutes, cake server set, guest book and pens are all in their proper place at the reception?
7. Who will help the groomsmen with their boutonnieres or the mothers with their corsages?
8. What happens if your bridesmaids' dresses aren't hemmed properly, or a button comes off a tux, just before the ceremony?
9. Who will make sure that the wedding starts on time and everyone is in place for the processional?
10. What will you do if the DJ, caterer, etc. is late, gets violently ill, or just doesn't show up?
11. Who will manage the wedding reception to make sure everything goes smoothly and all of the announcements, introductions, toasts, special dances, cake cutting, bouquet
toss or dedication, all happen on time?
12. Who will make sure that all of the vendors are paid the day of the wedding?
13. Who will make sure that your limo or transportation is waiting for you at the end of the reception?
With all of the costs involved in producing a wedding in the first place, don't you think that the fee for the services of a coordinator for your big day is a small price to pay to ensure that, when the crunch comes down, everything unfolds as it should. You only get one shot at the biggest day of your life; why gamble
with disappointment?
